Physical Environment

Landscape

At Warden Head, the headland appears to consist of Conjola formation rocks, which are made up of conglomerate, sandstone and silty sandstone (Ulladulla Geological Series Sheet S1 56-13).

Bathymetry & Substrate

The outfall is above the low tide mark and discharges into a small gully in the rock platform. The inshore bathymetry is relatively shallow close to the outfall and the rock platform is exposed to high energy wave action.  To the south of the rock platform is Racecourse Beach and to the north is Warden Head and then Ulladulla Harbour.
